Job Overview:

The Intermediate Applications Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. This role involves coding, debugging, analyzing security issues, and implementing system improvements to support the organization’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Utilize knowledge of application development methodologies and programming to define system enhancements.
✅ Use scripting tools and perform code analysis to improve system efficiency.
✅ Consult with clients, users, and technology teams to troubleshoot and recommend software solutions.
✅ Apply programming languages and design specifications to develop application functionalities.
✅ Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities and conduct testing/debugging activities.
✅ Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on application development best practices.
✅ Make evaluative decisions based on data analysis to implement system improvements.
✅ Ensure compliance with Citi’s policies, industry regulations, and security standards.
✅ Exercise independent judgment while working under limited supervision.
✅ Collaborate with senior stakeholders and act as an SME on critical projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
✔ 2-5 years of experience in application development (preferably in the financial services industry).
✔ Proficiency in programming languages and scripting tools.
✔ Ability to analyze and interpret code for system optimization.
✔ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✔ Experience in debugging, security analysis, and application testing.
✔ Ability to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and adapt to unexpected changes.
