Role Overview:

Virtusa is seeking an experienced BI Reporting Analyst to support our Wholesale Business Unit. This role is focused on extracting, analyzing, and visualizing carrier and wholesale transaction data to generate actionable insights. The ideal candidate should bring deep domain knowledge in telecom wholesale operations and hands-on expertise with BI tools and large-scale data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect to Greenplum Data Warehouse using tools like DBeaver or similar platforms

• Prepare ad hoc and scheduled reports focusing on interconnect revenues, carrier traffic, and partnership performance

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy

• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to gather reporting requirements

• Analyze large datasets and deliver insights in a clear, concise, and visually impactful format

• Ensure data integrity and proactively resolve any anomalies or inconsistencies

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related fields

• Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in the telecom wholesale domain

  • Minimum 2 years working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy)

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong knowledge of SQL

  • Experience with Greenplum or similar big data environments

• Solid understanding of wholesale KPIs, carrier relations, and revenue models

• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills
