Role Overview:

The Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 1 is an intermediate-level role responsible for handling complex financial transactions and supporting various cash and trade operations. The individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in processing payments, trade transactions, wholesale card activity, and other related services, while also contributing to process improvements and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute regular, restricted, and legal transfers including:

  • Payments

  • Receivables

  • Trade transactions

  • Liquidity flows

  • Wholesale card activity

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance on process enhancements

• Evaluate transaction issues and recommend solutions through data analysis and precedent

• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and vendors to meet deliverable requests

• Collaborate on projects related to cash and trade operations

• Understand team interactions and the broader impact on business objectives

• Uphold risk management and compliance standards:

  • Ensure transparency in operations

  • Safeguard Citi’s reputation and assets

  • Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies

  • Escalate control issues appropriately

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience (preferred in financial services or transaction processing)

• Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Understanding of financial regulations

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s or University degree (or equivalent experience)
