About the job

Our company specializes in building successful ecommerce brands across Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart. We are looking for a high-performing, motivated individual to provide analytical support and technical leadership to our growing e-commerce team. This individual will be expected to take over core analytics responsibilities within six months and play a key role in building scalable, automated reporting systems that empower decision-making.

Location: Remote

Time Zone: Hours will be based on EST/PST time zone.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Capabilities

• Generate, maintain, and improve daily, weekly, and monthly e-commerce reports using tool of your choice (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL Database, Python etc.)
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer behavior, funnel performance, retention, and other key ecommerce metrics to guide strategic initiatives.
• Configure and maintain scalable data infrastructure using data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) for centralized storage and processing of large datasets.
• Design and automate ETL workflows to fetch data from multiple APIs (Amazon, Meta, Shopify, Google Ads, etc.) and load into reporting systems.
• Build and maintain dynamic dashboards using BI tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI to visualize performance trends, KPIs, and insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to translate business questions into data projects and provide actionable insights.
• Implement automation to reduce manual reporting tasks, ensure data freshness, and improve reporting turnaround times.
• Document and standardize analytics workflows (SOPs) for consistency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Work closely with the Head of Analytics to transition into a leadership role—owning the analytics roadmap, tools, and reporting architecture within 6 months.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and completeness through meticulous QA processes, version control, and cross-validation practices.

Ideal Candidate Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify analytics.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Experience working in fast-paced remote environments and with global teams.

Qualifications

• Experience working with US or UK-based ecommerce companies.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role.
• Proven experience in building and presenting data reports to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with data automation, API integrations, and scalable dashboarding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
