The Hypervisor Quality team plays a crucial role in ensuring zero-defect product quality. This globally distributed team develops innovative ways to stress-test Nutanix products in-house, ensuring they stand up against the most demanding customer workloads.
Our team also builds cutting-edge automation tools and frameworks, reducing human intervention while maintaining high testing standards.

As an SDET, you will work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers across different geographies. Your primary responsibilities will include:
✅ Requirements Analysis & Test Planning
✅ Test Automation & Execution
✅ Defect Management & Collaboration
✔ 2+ years of experience as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)
✔ Strong understanding of Linux Operating Systems
✔ Experience in test plan design and test case development for complex software projects
✔ Proficiency in Python for test automation
✔ Hands-on experience in testing REST APIs and associated client code
✔ Familiarity with networking concepts (IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP)
✔ Experience in testing system-level products (file systems, storage, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, or networking)
✔ Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
✔ Experience with Git, Gerrit, GitHub, and version control systems
✔ Familiarity with JIRA or other ticketing tools
✔ BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
✔ Experience in testing virtualization platforms (preferably QEMU, Libvirt (KVM))
✔ Exposure to distributed/clustered systems testing
✔ Experience using CI/CD frameworks (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
✔ Experience in QA Automation Framework development
✔ Ability to leverage open-source tools for test development and execution
