Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to manage the entire Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) disciplines for globally delivered multi-tenant APIs in the travel vertical. The ideal candidate will have domain knowledge in the airline industry, particularly in NDC services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies to ensure the product's reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Build backend API test automation for microservices.
• Understand the end-to-end functionality of the product and develop test automation.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and delivered to appropriate team members.
• Assist the development team as an SDET to improve quality early in the delivery cycles through independent execution testing.
• Execute QA processes and automated testing for nearly all streams to improve the overall testing process.
• Conduct regression testing and end-to-end integration testing for products to be delivered.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Perform in-depth research to identify the cause of issues and guide the development team to resolve them.
• Be client-focused, goal-oriented, and passionate about progress.
• Work closely with engineers and product support agents to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product discrepancies or design issues.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and current testing leads to create test scenarios that can be automated.
• Engage with global teams and Scrum Masters to showcase the product being worked on during each sprint.
• Be self-driven, motivated, and take pride in automating quality aspects of the software.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 6-8 years of proven work experience as an Automation Architect.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience in the airline industry, specifically NDC services, Offer and Order Management, etc.
• Tools/Tech: Experience with Agile software development and tools like JIRA or similar.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
