Role Overview

As our in-house digital analytics expert, you will lead reporting and insight generation across various social media and digital platforms. Our team manages over 100 social media channels and more than 30 websites.

One of the key objectives of this role is to go beyond traditional social media engagement metrics and establish a strong connection between social media performance and business results. You should feel confident communicating insights and educating stakeholders who may not be well-versed in the digital space.

The social media team is part of Impact, ION's in-house communications and marketing agency, which consists of content, design, digital marketing, events, media, video, and web specialists. Our team is responsible for managing all social media platforms and tools across the group, ensuring ION is presented at its best through effective social media communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate ongoing and ad-hoc reports for campaigns, marketing initiatives, and digital channels.
• Act as the main point of contact for reporting and analytics.
• Advise on key metrics and implement appropriate tracking parameters.
• Assist with A/B testing best practices and develop reporting dashboards for conversion rate optimization.
• Build Power BI dashboards and connect them to various data sources.
• Create and monitor Brandwatch queries, ensuring accurate filtering and troubleshooting.
• Develop Brandwatch dashboards for non-marketing users.
• Work closely with the digital marketing team to support reporting for email campaigns, SEO, and other digital marketing initiatives.
• Advocate for and enhance measurement approaches through comprehensive resources.
• Provide training to stakeholders and team members.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Required:

• Experience in building Boolean queries and dashboards for social listening (Brandwatch).
• Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of digital reporting platforms (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio).
• Expertise in social media metrics and social media measurement frameworks beyond engagement metrics (reactions, comments, shares, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) with the ability to create data-driven analyses.
• Understanding of conversion tracking and mapping.
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.

Preferred:

• Advanced knowledge of LinkedIn analytics.
• Familiarity with social media APIs.
• Experience with paid targeting strategies.
