Operation Theater Technician (Permanent – Dibrugarh, Assam)

Job Details:

• Pay: ₹20,000 - ₹22,000 per month
• Job Type: Permanent
• Shift & Schedule: Day shift
• Location: Dibrugarh, Assam
• Benefits: Provident Fund

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Prepare the Operation Theater for elective and emergency procedures.
✔ Communicate & coordinate with Sr. Consultants, Anesthetists, OT technicians, and support staff.
✔ Explain procedures to patients and resolve queries in the ward.
✔ Ensure patient preparation as per the pre-procedure checklist and clinician instructions.
✔ Verify all necessary consents & payments before procedures.
✔ Ensure sterilization & readiness of surgical instruments and supplies.
✔ Assist in surgical procedures as a Surgical/Anesthesia Assistant.
✔ Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any abnormalities during the intra-operative and recovery periods.
✔ Collect, label & transport tissue/blood samples to the laboratory.
✔ Shift & monitor patients in the Recovery Ward.
✔ Follow infection control protocols, biomedical hazard policies, and universal precautions.
✔ Participate in emergency drills like CPR/AED along with other staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

???? Qualification: Diploma in OT Technician (DOTT) (Preferred)
???? Experience:

• 1+ year of total work experience (Required)
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in Healthcare/Nursing (Preferred)

Additional Requirements:

???? Ability to commute or relocate to Dibrugarh, Assam before starting work (Required)
