Job Role: Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with the Product and Design teams to deliver high-quality features to our customers. You will collaborate with and lead other engineers to drive technical initiatives that improve speed, security, and overall efficiency.

You are an experienced developer with a strong software engineering background and the ability to learn new tools and languages quickly. You will play a crucial role in mentoring junior developers, ensuring best coding practices, and troubleshooting complex production issues.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop & Deploy: Work with the development team to design, build, test, and deploy software applications.
✅ Write Clean Code: Ensure efficient, well-structured, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
✅ Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to improve code quality.
✅ Debugging & Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex software issues effectively.
✅ Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest software trends and technologies.
✅ Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for software components and processes.
✅ Project Planning: Assist in project estimation, planning, and evaluation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

✅ Experience:

• 5+ years as a software engineer in complex domains and large-scale products.
• Strong expertise in Ruby & Ruby on Rails (including internals).
• Experience in system design & architecture, domain modeling, distributed systems, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases & key-value stores.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, and Atlassian products (preferred).
• Knowledge of TypeScript & React is a plus.

• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions.
