Position: Android Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an Android Engineer who is passionate about pushing mobile technologies to their limits. As part of our talented engineering team, you will design and develop the next generation of our mobile applications. You will collaborate with other technical teams and application developers to create exceptional products.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Perform unit testing to ensure robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Troubleshoot bugs and work on improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience and Android development expertise.
• Strong working experience in native Android app development using Kotlin.
• At least one original Android app published on the Google Play Store.
• Hands-on experience with the Android SDK.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.
• Proficiency with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
