Job Overview

Are you a multi-talented professional with a passion for events, sustainability, and project management? Do you excel at client relations, team coordination, and problem-solving under pressure? If so, we invite you to apply for the role of Assistant Manager – Events at Skrap.

In this role, you will play a key role in planning, executing, and managing Zero Waste Events projects, working closely with clients, vendors, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless, sustainable experience.

Key Responsibilities

???? Project Planning & Execution

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of our Zero Waste services at events.
• Define project timelines, allocate tasks, and manage resources for smooth delivery.

???? Client Servicing

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and expectations.
• Deliver exceptional service with a focus on sustainability and waste reduction.

???? Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with multiple vendors to ensure ethical, efficient, and timely execution.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges proactively.

???? Volunteer & On-Ground Staff Coordination

• Manage on-site staff and volunteers, ensuring smooth event operations.

???? Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain detailed project reports, expense documentation, and client updates.
• Collect and analyze feedback post-event for continuous improvement.

Who Should Apply?

✔ Experience: 2-4 years in event/project management within the Events industry, Ad/film shoots, Sports, or Outdoor travel industry.
✔ Skills: Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
✔ Mindset: Proactive, organized, and process-driven with a go-getter attitude.
✔ Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of design tools like Canva and project management tools like Google Suite & Asana.
✔ Passionate about the Environment: Deeply committed to sustainability and waste reduction.
✔ Location: Must be Mumbai-based with extensive travel within Mumbai & across India.
