We are looking for a Packaging Executive to ensure that all products are packed as per PepsiCo's quality and packaging standards. This role is responsible for minimizing breakdowns, reducing wastages, maintaining packaging efficiency, and ensuring smooth machine operations.
✔ Supervise the packing process to meet daily and weekly targets in terms of quality, quantity, and AVC.
✔ Ensure maximum efficiency of packing machines and minimize breakdowns in coordination with the Packing Engineer.
✔ Maintain proper records of machine-related issues and ensure timely rectification.
✔ Monitor and control online leakage and film wastage within AOP targets.
✔ Oversee housekeeping and hygiene standards in the packaging section.
✔ Lead and manage a motivated team of packaging operators to ensure a harmonious work environment.
✔ Deploy operators on specific workstations based on their skillset.
✔ Coordinate with HR and Engineering departments to enhance machine competencies of operators.
✔ Conduct coaching and training sessions to develop multi-skilled operators.
✔ Ensure discipline on the shop floor and handle grievances before they escalate.
✔ Work with the Engineering Department to ensure availability of spare parts for packaging machines.
✔ Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on packaging machines.
✔ Participate in projects such as the installation of new machines.
✔ Maintain OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and take corrective actions to enhance packaging line efficiency.
✔ Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices to minimize machine downtime.
✔ Participate in packaging & quality wall meetings, communicate action plans, and track improvements.
✔ Address non-improvements in packaging & quality scores and enforce standard machine handling practices.
✔ Support the Production Manager in implementing training programs and benchmarking industry best practices.
???? Education: B.E. in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics.
???? Preferred: Experience in packaging maintenance.
???? Experience: 3-7 years in a similar industry at a supervisory level.
???? Industry Exposure: Handling packaging of perishable products and automated packaging machines.
