Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a software development team focused on manufacturing and quality processes.
• Develop and drive strategies to recruit, develop, and activate talent within the team.
• Work with senior technical and functional leaders to drive transformation through business cycles and technology advancements.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, designing, implementing, testing, and delivering new features.
• Lead and coach the team to ensure they meet objectives and deliver results in a high-growth environment.
• Define, prioritize, and communicate clear objectives for the product team.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.).
• 12+ years of experience leading software development teams, delivering high-quality software products.
• Strong experience in Agile/SCRUM methodologies and leadership of engineering teams.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, SQL, Microservices, and mobile development.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior leaders across technical and business domains.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience in the full product lifecycle from ideation to delivery.

Desired Skills

• Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and manufacturing operations.
• Ability to contribute to every phase of the software development life cycle.
• Prior experience in IT leadership for manufacturing and quality development would be beneficial.

Additional Information

• Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 13-16 years of related work experience or a Master's degree with 12-15 years of related work experience.
  • Willingness to relocate within India for this position.
  • This position is not subject to export control regulations.
