Job Description

As a Domestic Travel Manager, you will focus on travel packages and services for domestic destinations within India. This role combines sales, customer service, and industry expertise to deliver exceptional experiences to clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote and Sell Packages:

   • Market domestic travel packages, including transportation, accommodation, tours, and related services.
   • Highlight popular destinations like Goa, Kerala, Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the Golden Triangle.
   • Stay updated on the latest trends and destinations in domestic travel.

2. Customer Engagement:

   • Interact with potential clients (individuals, families, and groups) to generate leads and close sales.
   • Provide detailed information about travel destinations, packages, and itineraries.

3. Booking and Coordination:

   • Manage hotel bookings and collaborate with travel suppliers (hotels, airlines, tour operators) to negotiate rates and secure the best deals for clients.
   • Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure smooth execution of travel plans.

4. Industry Knowledge:

   • Keep abreast of domestic travel trends, new destinations, and industry developments.
   • Familiarize yourself with the organization’s travel products, services, promotions, and discounts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, tourism, business, or a related field is preferred.

• Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and closing sales.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of domestic travel destinations and trends.
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems, online reservation platforms, and relevant software.
